Construction projects of scale occur in distinct phases and rely on three separate but equally vital entities: owner, designer, and builder. The typical process begins with the design phase. The client initiates their vision with the architect, who then manages and coordinates the design team, producing a plan-set including detailed specifications for permitting and construction. The pre-construction phase begins as these plans are submitted to the General Contractor who first coordinates with the architect, then manages the construction team, establishing the scope of work in detail and developing a construction plan; including a schedule and all building costs involved in the projects construction. Once all planning and due diligence are complete, the projects main phase begins; construction.
